Rowena Godfrey is a Helmsley resident. She has been a Member of The Beatrix Potter Society for more than thirty years and served on its Committee, twice as its Chairman. She was the Editor of the Society’s Journal and Newsletter for seven years, has written articles about some of Beatrix’s close relatives and has edited several books resulting from biennial Study Conferences held in the Lake District and Perthshire.
