Paul Rabbitts is a qualified landscape architect and park manager. He is a great advocate of public parks and bandstands and a prolific author on the subject. London’s royal parks are among its most beautiful and beloved spaces: they have a grand history and this lecture tells the story of all eight of the parks from the point when they were acquired by the monarchy until the present day, including the historic moments and events with which they are associated.
